What Air, Sharp in his Critical Inquiry, and Monfr. ]Le Dran in his Operations and Qb- Jervations in Surgery, have wrote upon this fubjedt, with the different kinds of Empyema and Abfceffes in the Thorax deferve to be read with the greatefl atten¬ tion.
