Our students and faculty were excited by your visit. Our students who talked with you at tea came around and asked if there wasn't some way of attracting you to be professor at the University of Chicago. Chicago isn't as great as it once was, but it is still within striking distance of greatness and George Beadle is doing his best to get us on the road back. I am sure that you will enjoy the Salk Institute. Frank Dixon at Scripps is a young man worth knowing. If you like adventure he could take you sailing on his catfish. Thanks for coming.
