Diphtheria immunisation was undertaken by local Medical Practitioners privately and at 'the schools. From January 1st - December 194^- following children received a full course Under -S. b h over but under ^ 36 96 Estimated population PpP Percentage immunised 21.31^/o 97.90> Althougli the number of the higher age group immunised was satisfactory, the number under } was definitely low.
