Infaiit Deaths The Infant Death Rate was Nil, the same as in 1957, and compared with 22.5 for England and Wales. There were no deaths of infants under the age of 1 year in the Borough during 1958, the same as in 1957. Maternal Mortality Rate There were no maternal deaths during 1958 giving a Maternal Mortality Rate of Nil the same as in the previous year compared with 0.86 for England and Wales.
