The generally satisfactory condition of the boats has been well maintained. Of this number 34 were found to conform with the Acts. One boat was going in for repairs. There has not been a single case of sickness on board during the year. All boats were free from bilge water, ventilation was fairly good, and good provision was made for the storage of water. The boats plying in this district are registered either at Goole, Mirfield or Leeds, it has not being necessary to make provision for registration.
