Speaking notes (holograph) and printed programme for The John Danz Lectures (Of Molecules and Men), delivered at The University of Washington, 24 February, and 1 and 3 March, 1966.

The file includes a cutting of a newspaper report (The Everett Herald, Thursday, 3 March, 1966) containing a photograph of Crick and a student, as well as another image (as a photographic print) of Crick and the same student.

Also included are three background texts:

1. M L Pettersson, "Trends of opinion on vitalism," Institute of Biology Journal, 8: 4 (1961), 100-1 (reprinted paper);
2. Eugene P Wigner, "The probability of the existence of a self-reproducing unit" (no date, photocopied pages 231-8 from an unidentified source);
3. Peter T Mora, "Urge and molecular biology," Nature, 199: 4890 (1963), 212-9 (reprinted paper). The text is inscribed by Mora to "Francis Crick - That you may see" and has several marks at the margins.
