    \ [ 6 ] The Rewards published by them for attempting the recovery of a drowned perfon, were the fum of Six Ducats, or a Gold Medal, over and above all expences attending the fame, not exceeding Four JD neats* The great fuccefs of this undertaking* and the advantages accruing from it to the State, has induced each of the feveral Provinces of the Republic of the Low Countries to take proper meafures for extending the benefits of it, by enjoining an obfervance of the Society’s diredtions through their refpedtive diftridts.
