![ef rocks and hills, from whence this place has keen called Magheredrolly i. e. the field of diffi^ culties. Here is the country relidence of the carl of Moira. Within 2 miles of this- place, at the ikirts of Slieu-Crobb mountain, is an ex- cellent chalybeate fudphureous fpa. At Bally- nahinch is a church, refidentiary houfe, Char- tcr-fchool and Prefbyterian meeting-houfe. 'I'he fchool is endowed' with 2 acres of land belonging to the fee of Dtomore j and the late earl of Moira befid’es a fubfcription, granted 20 acres of land at 3/ per ann. in lieu of 10 acres formerly let by him to the incorporated fociety.
