![drug figured and described: the thick, globular, nodose rhizome of an umbelliferous plant resembling in taste and odour that of Parsley. Tatar., Cat., 24 :—^ jz* fa hung [I suspect the first character is a mistake for Jfet fu (v. supra)], Pad. tuberosa Levistici.—Gauger [19]:—The drug fu hmg figured and described as resembling the cli'uan hung, but smaller. Hanb., Sc. pap., 2G0 :—Ch‘uan hung. Nodular masses consisting apparently of the root stock of some umbelliferous plant allied to Angelica, etc. The odour of the drug resembles that of the tang hui [see 46]. Cast. Med., No. 247 :—J|| chluan hung, Pleuro- spermum, sp., or Conioselinum univittatum, Turcz. (Umbellif.) Cust. Med., p. 66 (13):—Cli'uan hung exported 1885 from Han kow 7,180 piculs,—p. 58 (6), from I chang 1,368 piculs.—lhid., p. 66 (21), si hung exported from Han kow 77 piculs,—p. 342 (62), from Canton 50 piculs. So mohu, V, 2 :—7^ Jjff or J|| ^ umbelliferous plant not identified by Franchet. The Phon zo [IX, 4] represents the large nodose roots of the same plant. See also Kwa wi, 34, J|| sen hiu.
