![[ ] In case the 12th, that of Mrs. of Manchester, which is the first of the four here mentioned, the patient had, I must agree with the Doctor, both anasarca gravidarum,which was general all over her body, and peritonitis puer- peralis, but I cannot allow that she had the phlegmatia dolens, for the following reasons. The skin of the limb, had not the milky whiteness, but was inflamed, nor was the swelling confined to the Labium pudcndi of that side which was affected, but extended to both labia pudcndi.
