![nw os Leer 15.—Every sink on the premises must be drained by a properly trapped waste pipe. The trap shall be fixed immediately helow the waste outlet of the sink. The waste pipe shall discharge to :— (a) A trapped gulley fixed outside the building in an unroofed courtyard. (>) An impervious drainage channel formed in the floor of the room in which the sink exists, as described in Article 1] of these conditions. 16.—The drainage from a water-closet basin shall be by means of a strong cast-iron ventilated soil-pipe connected to the public drainage system or cesspit of the dairy. 17.—-Clean water used solely for cooling or condensing purposes mav he drained into a canal or drain, but must not be discharged into a birka or on to low-lying land. Water-closets and Latrines. 18.—-No water-closet or latrine will be permitted either within the actual dairy or its annexes, or communicating directly with it by door, window, or otherwise. 19.—All water-closets and latrines required for the dairy must be built in separate annexes, in positions approved by the Depart- ment of Public Health. 20.—Wherever possible, water-closets and latrines shall be provided with properly trapped basins connected by means of ventilated: soil-pipes to the drainage svstem of the dairy. 21.—In the case of oriental pattern water-closets, the squatting slab shall be fixed at a level three centimetres lower than the general floor level, and the floor shall be made to slope to the slab, in order to drain all water from the floor to the slab and thence to the basin. 22.—All water-closets shall be provided with efficient flushing cisterns connected to a pressure water supply. No Communication with Habitations. 23.—No part of the business premises shall be used for family residential purposes. ‘There must be no direct communication between the business premises and any habitation.
