    -+- Salop & Montgomery Asylum, 8 th August, 1868. Upon our visit to the Asylum yesterday we inspected its several Wards and Offices, and with the exception of two Patients of each sex, absent on trial, and a woman of the Criminal class, who escaped within the last six months and has not been traced, saw all the Patients, 490 in number. We have repeated our visit to-day, for the purpose of completing’ our inspection and enquiries. The changes in the Patients since the visit of our Colleagues, 12th November last, and their present numbers are shewn by the following Tabular Statement. Admitted.
