    SANITARY CIRCmSTANCES OF THE AREA. Water Supply The water supply of the Borough is provided by the Duke of Norfolk's Estate, from a borehole and well situated in Mill Road near Swanbourne Lake, and pumped unfiltered to reservoirs in Arundel Park and Herons Wood, Water consumed in the Borough is purchased in bulk at 10d» per thousand gallons. All water pUEped is chlorinated at the Waterworks before distribution, and a constant supply is maintained to almost every house in the Borough, Only two isolated cottages depend on underground rainwater storage tanks for a water supply. The quantity of water Kvailable is estimated to be sufficient for the ' steady development of the district for many years to come, !i The Chlorination plant which is maintained by the Corporation consists of an Amraoniator, a Chlorinator and a Reagent Feeder i using Sodium Hypochlorite, Constant supervision of this plant ) by the resident engineer is maintained. The plant is regularly j serviced by Messrs.
