    Statistics ; In the manner of distribution the following changes occurred in of Insanity. 18 73:— Number = In Royal and District Asylums there was an increase of 30 “ta e st private and 22 pauper patients. the Insane. In Private Asylums there was an increase of 1 private and a decrease of 5 pauper patients. In Parochial Asylums there was an increase of 78 pauper patients. In Lunatic Wards of Poorhouses there was an increase of 9 pauper patients. In the Lunatic Department of the Central Prison at Perth there was a decrease of 1 male and 2 female patients. In Training Schools for Imbeciles there was an increase of 1 private and 1 pauper patient. In Private Dwellings there was a decrease of 47 pauper patients.
