Description

Shows a pacemaker, an electric device for controlling heart rate, and then the surgical insertion of the device on a woman aged 61 years old at the time of the film. There is extensive footage of surgery to insert the pacemaker. She recovers well and is seen walking from the hospital. There is a a short case study of a man who is reliant on the device at the end.
