![ON INFLAMMATION OF THE CONJUNCTIVA IN INFANTS, Infants, soon after] birth, are subject to an inflammation, which, as it affects the tunica conjunctiva in a very peculiar man- ner, has been most commonly denominated the purulent ophthalmia of infants.
