Cubebse fluid, §ii. Magnes. Carb., §ss. Pulv. Sacch. Alb., 5xii. Aq. fior. Aurant., §ii. Aq. q.s. 01. Amygd. ess., gtt. i. Rub up the fluid extract with the magnesia, and add 2 ounces of the sugar in small portions until thoroughly mixed. Then add the orange-flower water and 7 ounces of plain water, and, when the sugar is dissolved, filter, adding sufficient water to make the filtrate measure 11 ounces. In this dissolve the rest of the sugar, and finally, add the oil of almonds dissolved in 1 drachm of spirit. Dose, one to four tea- spoonfuls. XXVI. Another. Pulv. Cubebse, 5iii- Syrup. Aurant, ad 5ii' M. Sig.—One teaspoonful for a dose. XXVII. Or half to 2 di^achms of the dry powder, with an equal quantity of sugar, may be taken on the tongue or m wafers. But the powder is too bulky to be acceptable m this form.
