    ANTISPASMODICS. Draught. Spirit of nitrous ether, one ounce. Ether, one ounce. Tincture of pimento, two ounces. Water to eight ounces. May be given at intervals of one to two hours, as may be necessary. Draught. Ether, two ounces. Tincture of opium, one ounce. Extract of Cannabis Indica, half a drachm. May be given in half a pint of linseed oil, or with gruel, or in water. The dose may be repeated at intervals of two hours, if necessary. Draught. Hypodermic Injection of morphine (B.P.), forty minims. Water to four ounces. May be given in a draught with water as above, or, if preferred, hypodermically. Draught. Oil of turpentine, half an ounce. Ether, one ounce. Diluted hydrocyanic acid, twenty minims. Oil of Unseed to six ounces. May be repeated in two houi-s, if necessary.
