M1] 1 A HIGHLY IMPORTANT AXE HAMMER, of dark polished stone, with —Zemi-cireular cutting cone-shaped hammer end, and strongly incurved sides; th® curves are outlined with a pronounced rib, 6 in. long by 4 example, weighing 4lbs., was found in deepening the river Bann about 1847 (see Ulster Journal of Archeology, vol. IIT, p. 234, and Proc. RY. A., vol.
