    OBJECTS, PRINCIPALLY OF THE CELTIC PERIOD. 726 Ring Head of a penannular brooch, of circular forin, in bronze, with sunk panels at the expanded ends, and another in the centre of the ring; these panels are decorated with interlacing orna- # » ment, and in the centre of each is a depression, originally filled with paste or enamel now missing, 22 7%n. diam.; found in Mag- hadee bog, near Kellswater, fine and very rare (PI. VI, third series, no. 3, p.388) [PI VII] 1 728 A Ring Pin, the loop having terminations suggesting the reptilian head, 347n. long; and an unusual penannular Brooch, with very 7/j if broad expansion at the ends of the ring, the outline decorated / with a line of dots, also rare; found in a Crannog at Derry- A fAAnvr~ hullogh (see U.
