About 89 per eent. of these patients reside in the Rorough. During the year 200 first visits and 2,184 re-visits were paid to houses by the Tubereulosis Health Visitors. Shelters were provided for the use of 9 Borough jiatients during the year. The Tubereulosis Care Committee eontinued its useful work. During the year ending .‘31st Mareh, 1925, material help or adviee was given to 2G eases helped in jirevious years ; 5.‘3 new appliea- tions were reeeived, and help was given in one way or another in 43 of these eases. The treatment of tubereulous patients in Darlington is carried on by officers of the Durham County Council as jiart of their Scheme, the Dispensary in Darlington serving for the ]3orou gh and adjacent areas.
