![fz Monthly Review, &c, ^77^.] ftrved, that w*e left Quebec the 23d, and that the thermometer became gradually lower as we got down the river, fo that In eight days It was 9 deg. lower than It was the day we left Quebec •: It continued lower while we were at Bique-ifland. On the 5th, two of our men, one with Icurvy (one of the marines that were on board the tranfport), the other with fever, were fent to the hofpital; and one with cough on the • i3th.-r-The lift decreafed until the i6th, when it increafed, varied for two days, and decreafed .on the 19th, then continued without alteration until the 23d, when our four men came from the hofpital; after which it varied until the end, but rather increafed. On the 13th, two of our men were Inva- lided by furvey. We were ferved frefh beef every meat-day, fome time before we left Quebec. The 26th we arrived at Bique-ifland, where our men were employed to cut wood for the fliip’s ufe-^-and failed from thence on the 31ft.
