All possible steps have been and are being taken to enlighten mothers as to the importance of having their child- ren immunised against Diphtheria. Talks are given by the medical stafly while the Health Visitors and School Nurses visit the homes and give advice. In addition, circular letters are addressed to ])arents from the County Health Office, also posters are disi)layed throughout the County. d'he total number of children immunised in the C'ounty during 1941 was;— Under 5 years of age 2742 Over 5 years of age 5221 The total number of children immunised in the County since 19.57 is 24,275.
