The sea water itself (aqua marina) contains Chlorides ot' Sodium, Mag- nesium and Potassium; Sulphates of Lime, Soda and Magnesia; Carbonate of Lime, Bromide of Magnesium, Iodine, and various animal and vegetable bodies. It is of a cathartic nature and makes an excellent tonic bath. The following sea-side health resorts may be chosen for the various Nervous Disorders, also for Insomnia, Anamiia, Scrofula, Impotence, Phthisis, Hysteria, Blennorboea, Leu- corrhcea, and other diseases:— New South Wales.—Chowder Bay, Coogee Bay, Eden, Gosford, Kiama, Lady Robinson’s Beach (New Brighton), Lake Macquarie, Manly, Pittwater, Port Macquarie, Ulla- dulla, Watson’s Bay, Wollongong, Yamba. New Zealand.-—Akaroa, Auckland, Devonport, Good- wood, Motueka, Napier, Nelson, New Brighton, Onehunga, Otahuhu, Riverton, St. Kilda, Sumner, Timaru, Waikouaiti, Waiuku, Waiwera. Queensland.—Cleveland, Emu Park (Hewittville), Pialba, Sandgate, Southport, Yeppoon. South Australia. — Brighton, Edithburgh, Glenelg, Henley Beach, Port Elliot, Port Lincoln, Robe, Semaphore, Victor Harbour. Tasmania.—Formby and Torquay, Georgetown, Kings- ton, Penguin, St. Helen’s, Swansea, Ulverstone, Wynyard. Victoria.—Apollo Bay, Belfast, Brighton, Cowes, Dromana, Frankston, Lome, Mordialloc, Mornington, Port- arlington, Portsea, Queenscliff, St. Kilda, Sorrento, Warr- nambool. Western Australia.—Busselton, Rottnest.
