No. 440. Extract from the Proceedings of the Government of India in the Department of Agriculture, Revenue, and Com- merce,—dated Simla, the Slst October, 1871. [GrENERAL.] Read— A Memorandum, dated the 23rd September, by the Officiating Inspector-General of Forests, asking for permission to print, for circulation to Forest Officers, a Manual of Directions for the use of common medicines, and the treatment of some of the most common diseases.
