About this work

Description

"Over the last 10 years, studies of the meridians and comparative studies of diagnostic methods of Western and Eastern (Oriental) medicine, using the AMI (the Apparatus for measuring the Meridians and the corresponding Internal organs), have been made by a number of researchers. Such studies have produced significant results regarding the relationship between Ki energy (meridians) and the natural environment, revealing for example, a close relationship between Ki energy (meridians) and solar or lunar energy. The changes in the meridian functions and Ki energy, which result from various forms of stimulation, from herbal medications, and from meditation practice, have also been studied. The author has edited these reports, added explanations, and compiled the resulting materials into the present book. The discussions in this book were made assuming that the reader is already familiar with previous works by the author, including Measurements of Ki Energy, Diagnoses and Treatments - Treatments principles of Oriental medicine from an electrophysiological viewpoint -, and has knowledge of the four parameters (BP, AP, IQ, and TC) measured by the AMI."--From Preface.
