In general, the Prognoftic of this Dif- eafe is, that when it is hereditary, or got from the Nurfe, and both internal and ex¬ ternal Parts are affedted, it is difficult to cure, and fometimes incurable. When a venereal or fcorbutic Taint is mixt with it, the Difeafe is greatly aggravated; and when it is of long ftaqding, when the Strength is already much broke, and colliquative Dif- charges come on, accompanied with a dry Cough and hedtic Fever, little or no Hope remains. \ To cure this Herculean Difeafe, we fhould diredt our Intentions to the removing; the Ob- flrudlion of the Glands, by inciding the Vilcidity of the Humors, and corredting their Acrimony, and then to deftroy the Tu¬ mor, by internal or external Application.
