By this mode of drilling or perforating tbe tubes W, W, it will prevent tbe boles ever getting clogged or filled up by tbe dripping of tbe fat or gravy from tbe meat wbicb may be cooking over sucb 5 burner. Having now described the nature and best manner at present known to us of carrying out fully our Invention, it must be understood that we make no claim for beating, ventilating, or cooking by gas, except after tbe principle laid down in tbe foregoing description, nor do we confine ourselves to tbe exact size, shape, 10 or arrangement shown in tbe Drawings, but we retain tbe right of altering tbe same, as we may deem requisite, so long as we do not depart from tbe principle. We claim, first, tbe construction of stoves or apparatus to be heated by gas, with tbe arrangement of hot and cold air cylinders, and swing or tele- 15 scopic burners, as above described ; tbe same principle can be also applied to beating water. We claim, secondly, tbe constructing of swing or telescopic gas burners to be used in conjunction with our beating apparatus and cooking range, as above described. 20 We claim, thirdly, the constructing of boilers for beating water by gas for baths and other purposes, as above described. We claim, fourthly, tbe constructing of apparatus or fire-pot to be heated by gas from burners drilled underneath, for warming soldering irons and other tools, as above described. 25 We claim, fifthly, tbe application of tbe beating apparatus to tbe beating of dwelling bouses and other places, as above described. We claim, sixthly, tbe constructing, combining, and arranging tbe various parts in order to constitute a stove or apparatus for cooking by gas, with swing or telescopic burners drilled underneath, as above described. 30 We claim, lastly, tbe drilling or perforating of the tubes for constructing burners for the combustion of gas to be used for cooking and other purposes, as described in reference to Figure 5, Sheet D.
