[DELHI 18692] cdl sos شرح أخلاق‎ Sharh Akhlaq ‘Adad al-Din. A commentary on al-Iji’s tract on ethical philosophy in the foregoing number. No title or indication of authorship is given in this copy, but it is certain that it must be identified with the commentary mentioned by H. Kh. (1 204) and attributed by him to Shams al-Din Muhammad ibn Yisuf al-Kirmani, a pupil of al-Iji, who died in 786/1384 (see Sh Shadharit al-dhahab vi 294), who is chiefly known for his commentary on the S@fzf of al-Bukhari (see Brockel- mann I 158).‏ Beginning:‏ الحمى لله الذى كرما الانسان Seladtly ajo‏ وبعد فان لكل شىء كمالا وحصوله بحصول صفاته الخاصة: . اوكمال الانسان بالقوتين drole!‏ /القاالة وقد Sues‏ كثيرا من الكتب المصنفة فيها اعنى الحكمة العملية.:.ولم ار bud‏ مثل ما Adio‏ 0000| الأعظي Oils Gall was...‏ ..واكتب عليه زوايد. . . واتفق الفراغ والاتمام مع تمام الايجاز فى الكلام فى Fy‏ كرمان... فتوسلت به الى عالى 5 فلان.. .قال dood!‏ لله اقول هذا المختصر مشتمل على الحكمة العملية a‏ فوايد. 159 The commentator proceeds to explain and expand upon the text of al-Iji, intro- ducing each quotation with the word قال‎ and each comment with راقول‎ a feature noted by H. Kh. (loc. cit.). [DELHI 1788] جامع إلا Gus Sib‏ الانوار Jami‘ al-asrar wa-manba‘ al-anwar.‏ A text-book of Sufi doctrine, showing its essential agreement with orthodox Shi ‘ite theology, by Haidar ibn ‘Ali 21-7 al-Amili. This copy does not bear either title or name of author, except for a notice on the front fly-leaf by a later hand: its opening, however, agrees with that quoted by I‘jaz Husain .م م‎ 151). Of this author little appears to be known, except that he was a contemporary of Muhammad ibn al- Hasan al-Hilli (see Buhar Catalogue 11 242; d. 771/1369): it may therefore perhaps be conjectured that he is to be identified with Haidar ibn ‘Ali al-Shirazi (d. 785/1383) mentioned by Ibn al-‘Imad (Shadharat at- dhahab vi 287), who lived at Damascus, but afterwards removed to India, where he died by drowning.
