Shows various aspects of the medical and nursing care, physiotherapy, physical education and ordinary schooling of crippled children at the Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital and College, Alton, Hants. (founded 1908), the largest hospital-school in Great Britain at the time the film was made. Features children having plaster casts made for hip injuries; preparation for surgery; massage; radiography; physiotherapy; outdoor tuition, exercise and games for children; workshop training of adolescent boys in craft skills, etc.
