    The night attendance seems to be very efficient, and the returns for the last night show that only four beds on each, side were wetted or soiled. Much continues to be done to provide amusement and recrea¬ tion for the inmates—the dances, card parties, and theatrical entertainments are frequent—and we noticed in the wards a great variety of games, and a good supply of books. We had no complaints from the patients, and it is evident that they are under kind and judicious management, and that the officers devote their best energies to secure their comfort and well-being.
