Sownrey, (pub. at £2. 2s) cloth, £1. 5s (1861) This is the most comprehensive work on British Grasses, and is the only book which gives the magnified organ to enable the reader to recognise the various grasses. The coloring of this work is superior to that of any kindred publication. Sowerby’s English Fungi, or Mushrooms, small folio, the Supplement, text and plates 401—440 on 36 coloured plates, in 5 parts as originally issued, very rare, £3. 3s 1809-15 Plate No. 423 is on No, 422; 427 on.425; 438 on 420; 439 and 440 on one plate.
