    of the consumer in terms of the potency of food will receive a required protection. The Office of Education, with its facilities for bringing this story to the schools, can contribute the channels for the creation of under- standing. The National Youth Administration and the Civilian Con- servation Corps can help to establish for the rising generation a consciousness of what good food means to the health of a family and the life of a nation. And, on that stubborn front of low income, the experience of the Social ‘Security Board can help us a great deal. Its experience will help show us what our requirements mean in terms of family income. The food bill must fit the family’s food budget. The Federal Se- curity Agency, and I believe every other Government agency, is ready to act. Now it is up to you to give us the platform for action.
