The grant, in my opinion, has not been made possible solely for the benefit of the owner of the property, but to enable healthy houses to be provided for people who have to live in the type of house concerned. It has to be admitted, that great disappointment is felt in the lack of progress under this Act, and one can only hope that owners will not only see great benefits available through the Act, but that they will go even further and consider the question of providing new houses with the assistance of the Housing Financial Provisions Act, 1938, which has in it Sections providing for assistance to be given for the provision of houses for Agricultural Workers.
