My Lords and Gentlemen, In compliance with the request of the Committee of Works that I would report upon the Baths and Wash-houses already erected, and upon those erecting, I have the honour to submit the following statement:— The inquiries which are constantly addressed to me, either directly or through the Committee, for information respecting Public Baths and Wash-houses, induce me to make this Report more comprehensive than I should otherwise have thought necessary; but I hope that its publi- cation may tend to the promotion of the important objects which the Committee have in view.
