![Fungus H^matodes. {atfia, blood, and eibos.) A malig- nant and fatal disease of the eye. Grando. An imperfectly suppurating stye. Granular Conjunctiva. A morbid condition of the mucous lining of the palpebrae, consisting in an enlargement of the minute glands, or some other alteration in the structure of the part, the conse- quence of inflammation, and generally seen after purulent ophthalmia. Glaucoma. {ykavKos, a seagi^een colou7\) An affection of the eye, resembling amaurosis in many of its symp- toms, and characterized by a green or yellowish dis- colouration of the vitreous humour, and impairment or loss of vision. Gerontoxon. {yepoav, old J to^ov, a how,) Arcus senilis,, GoNORRHOiJAL Ophthalmia. Coujunctivitis caused by the application of gonorrhceal matter to the eye. GuTTA Serena. Complete amaurosis.
