No. 20 in a series of 22 cards (they were put out one a year for 22 years). This card shows a young, blond girl in a blue and white dress hugging her dark-haired mother round the neck. Mother (in a red dress and white blouse) is knitting, with a tabby and white cat rubbing against her left elbow. The card advertises Dr. Jayne's Tonic Vermifuge, Dr. Jayne's Expectorant (containing opium) and Dr. Jayne's Alterative. These cure cold, cough, sore throat, bronchitis, asthma, croup, whooping cough, consumption, worms, dyspepsia, nausea, water-brash, sick headache, indigestion, flatulence, heartburn, fever, ague and general debility.
