They palTed by feveral temples of the ancient Gebres, or worfhippers of fire (where at one time pofiibly was the fame phaenomenon as at Baku,) and alfo the ruins of a palace built by Shah Abas, far exceeding in grandeur any other on the coaft of the Cafpian Sea.
