    poftpone till too late the adminiftration of more efficient remedies. At an early period, an attack of this infidious complaint may fometimes be averted by a Uriel: attention to proper diet, and particularly by the affiduous ufe of exercife in the open air ; but it is to be feared, that a fpecific remedy for tubercles of the lungs will long continue to be fought for in vain.
