Exmion of Elbow Joint. Excised in both cases on account of Anchylosis of the Joint. lixcinion of flower Jaw. On account of a Tumour affecting the bone. Tlie patient died of Phlebitis. JJfjature of Femoral Artery. The vessel was tied in hotli instances for Popliteal Aneurisms. One patient was a cork-cutter, 27 years of age; the other a shopman, 35 years of age. fA'jature of fJrachial Artery. Tied in one case for False Aneurism; in anotlier for wound of the vessel. J/ernia, Irujuinal. One of these cases had been accidentally omitted in the returns from which Table IV. was construcled. Tlie patient, a boy ten yeai's of age, was almost pulseless on admission, and died a few hours afterwards. IMhotomy. One of the patients was a teacher, 52 years of age; the other a labourer, 49 years of age. Lilhotrity. Tlie patient was a labourer, GO years of age. Extirpation of Tumours. The Tumours of a non-malignant or doubtful character which were removed were sittinted as follows:—T^ct//;/ Tumours, 3 upon sliouider, 2 on back, 1 on neck, and 1 on cheek; Fil/rous TumourJi, 1 over thigli; C'l/slic Tumours, 1 over lower jaw, 1 on hip; Encysted Tumours, 1 on seal)), 1 on eyelid; Vascular Tumours, 1 at orifice of the urethra; Erectile Tumours, 1 on scro- tum, 1 over thumb; Osseous Tumours, 1 attached to lower end of femur; Tumours of uncertain character, 3 on check, 1 in groin, 1 on neck, 2 on back, and I over knee.
