    LINCOLN COUNTY LUNATIC ASYLUM. £ebeitteentf) annual Iftepott OF THE COMMITTEE OF VISITORS, For the Year 1869. The Committee of Visitors beg to report, for the in¬ formation of the several Courts of Quarter Sessions, and of the Corporations of Lincoln, Stamford, and Grantham, that the number of Patients in the Asylum, on the 31st day of December, 1869, was— Males . 276 Females . 302 Total . 578 being an increase of 17 on the numbers of last year. The average weekly rate for the past year is 8s. 9 Jd. Shortly after the last Annua] Report was presented, the opening service took place in the new Chapel, and the Committee desire to place on record their acknow¬ ledgments to the Lord Bishop of Lincoln and the clergy, who so kindly took part in its celebration, and to Dr. and Mrs. Palmer, for the very liberal and elegant hos¬ pitality offered by them to a large party of Visitors and their friends.
