A collection of obits “begun the first daye of March anno d’ni 1600 in the xlii yeare of the raigne of onr sovereign ladye queene Elizabeth by mee Will’m Segar, Norroy king of armes ot the north, to be continued by my servant Randall Holme, resident in the cittie of Chester.” The Welsh families noticed are:— f. 32. Mr. Raufe Ravenscrofte of Bolles in the countie of Fflint; lyeth enterred in Fflint church. f. 39. Thomas Evans of Northop. f. 42. Rowland Lloyd of in the county of Denbigh. f. 43. Mary Bodvile wife of John Bodvile of Bodvile in the county of Caernarvonne; died 27th day of January 1605. f. 45. John Langford of Alington, in the county of Denbigh; died 27 March 1606; buried in Gresford Church. [224] 905. ff. 48, 48b. A few notes by Mr. Umfraville concerning the bishoprics of St. Asaph and Bangor ; 18 cent. Unimportant. [225] 949. A volume of bishop Kennett’s collections ; 18 cent. f. lgh. The will (dated 29 Nov. 1515-6, proved 22 Jan. 1516) of bishop Miles Salley of Llandaff (d. 1516); copy. The reference to the original will in the Probate Registry, Somerset House, is 26 Holder.
