Nota.—Some of the deponents afforesayd have byne the col- lectors hereof. For further proofe by deponents exa’i’ed by com’ission retorned— The Com’issioners were Walter Vaugh- an, of Goulde’ Grove, in the county ot Carmarthin, es- quier, Rychard Herbart of the county of Mount- gom’y, esquier, Hughe Owen, of the county of Pen- brooke, esquier, well sene in the lawes and maried the doughter and heyre of George Wyryott, of Orryoll in the sayd countye a man ofvijxxli [£ 140] a yere ot olid rent, John Vaughan, cus- tomer of the porte of Myllford. Moste of these collectors for the > Ragler and do depose as follow- ethe:— David ap Ieuan lloyd Vaughan, esquior Lewes Morgan, gent. David Will'm Thomas John Thomas ap Ieuan Weythe, gent. Hughe ap Lle’n Lloyd, esquior David ap Ieuan ap Gwylim, gent. There was gathered one teale of otes conteyninge iiij busshelles Englishe measure of the inhabitants w’thin the countye afforesayd, w’ch by the custome ought to be payed. So that by this com’ission the measure is effectually proved, and there is an order in the courte1 to conffirme the same, rejectinge any further trioll to be made by the deffs one that behalf. Besides the foresayd certifficate dothe concurre w’th the sayd com’ission, and strengthens yt in eche poynte. Lastelie the moste p’te of the tenants lyable to this office ar retorned ten’antes to the O. fermor Will’m Herlle, and w’thall have delyv’ed lyverye and season [seizin], and ar contented to paye all suche duties and customes as are incident to the sayd office and as appeareth by the retorne of the said com’ission. The p’mysses considered, her Ma’ts fermo’r humbly intreateth this honorable courte (in consideracon of vj yeres rent2 by him payed beffore hande, enjoyenge nothinge for the same, and no rent otherwise hath byne payed her Ma’tie since theyr charter graunted for xxs a yere, and vj yeres in sute besides to the utter undoynge of the sayd fermo’r) to here [hear], ende, and determyne the customes and duties incident to the sayd office as afforesayd, and to graunte w’thall to the sayd fermo’r an absolute injunction of possession for the same, and to have judgement] against theyr pattent that is forfeyted for nonpayment of the rent.
