If It come of a Cold Humor, apply this following Cerat. Take of Tranl^nfence and d^afitch of each one dram and an half ; Qum Anime , Tacama- hacca, and Dlood-ftone, of each one dram: Qum of Juniper two fcruplesTurpentine and Wax as much as will ferve turn: mal^ a Cerat, But you muft apply Aftringent and Drying Medicines to the part affected : which are thus made. Take of Tutty prepared one dram: Sarcocol half a dram: ^ rankjnfence and ^aftich of each afcmple: Spichyiardftx grains : mak^ Troches,which heingmixed with the white of anT.gg, or the jiiyce of §litinces may be apply ed to the corner of the Tye, Or, 1 ake Tutty prepared in a fine %ag, and tye it with a firing, and put it in foarp Wine, and with this often wafhtheTyes, Or, T ake Tuity prepared, T,gg fljeUs pondered, the hefi Aloes, of each one dram: tye them in a %ag and mah^ a little Dali which fteep in Tennel-water, and fquee*^ the Dali often into the Diyes, Only Aloes poudered and made' into a Ball ( as above ) and put into Rofe-water, is veiy good. Or, Tske Aloes, Cyprefi^Jluts, T'rankinfence, ^ajiich, ^yrrh, of each two drams: Tutty pre¬ pared, and Sarcocol, of each one dram and an half: Sanguis Dragonis, Darberries, Sumach, red %ofes, of each one fcruple: Douder them finely, and with Tennel-water maks ^ CoUy- rium. In a Hot Defluxion this is excellent. Tdkeo^ white Troches of Dhafis without Opium, Sarcocol, Lycium or Dox-thorn, Acacia, Olihanum, of each one dram: theftones of ‘Myrobalans calcined, of white and red Coral, of each half a dram: Dearl half a fcruple : as much of the )uyce of Domegranats boyled to half, as will mak^a CcUyrium. If Rednels be ] oyned with it, this following is profitable.
