![Refolved that the following REPORT* of the Superintendent be printed and circu¬ lated. To the Committee of Visitors Gentlemen, The year i860 did not, in any part of it, bode well to perfons in failing health. It will not be expe&ed that its deficiency of Light, Warmth, and Drynefs of atmofphere, and its Gloom had other than a deprefling influence on the unfortunate and decrepid clafs of persons who are in this Afylum for care and treatment. It may be said to be the accident of the year * Rule 25—[of the General Rules of the Afylum.] The Superintendent fhall fubmit to the Committee of Vifitors, at their firft Meeting after the Oxfordfhire Epiphany Quarter Seffions annually, a Report in writing, of the general condition of the Afylum, and the number and character of the Patients 5 diftinguifhing the numbers who have been received and difcharged as cured; the number of re-ad- miflions 5 the number employed, and in what manner 5 the deaths which have occurred in the preceding year, and alfo the total number of difcharges, cures, and deaths fince the opening of the Inftitution, and fpecifying the fexes in each flatement j with fuch other fadls as the Superintendent may think defirable, or which the Vifitors may have fuggefted.](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b30310957_0005.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
