    Meat Inspection During the year 215 visits were made to the slaughterhouse for the purpose of meat inspections etc. Animals slaughtered. During the year the following number of animals were slaughtered. Cattle 1037 Calves 6 Sheep 5744 Pigs 839 Condemned Meat. The following meat and offal were rejected as unfit for human consumption;- Ox liver 565 lbs. Sheep liver 4l4 lbs. Pig liver 225 lbs. I'-liscellaneous offal 75 lbs. Beef carcase meat 1610 lbs. Sheep carcase meat 697 lbs. Pork and bacon 25l lbs Ice Cream. No samples of ice cream were taken for bacteriological examination. There are no manufacturers of ice cream in the Borou^ and all the ice cream sold is manufactured by large firms who sample regularly throughout the country* Offices, Shops and Railway Premises Act, 1965» 20 visits have been made to these premises during the year and there are 73 registered premises within the Borough. Due to pressiire of work on the Surveyor's and Housing Manager's side of this post it is impossible to do justice to this aspect of the v/ork. Water Supply. The water supply to the town is the responsibility of the West Denbighshire and West Flintshire Water Board, The Board take their samples as a safeguard to ens\ire that their plant is working correctly and we, as a Public Health Authority, take samples so that the public are safeguarded against any error or breakdown which could not be foreseen.
