A colour miniature representing the battle between Rama, hero of the epic Ramayana, and his enemy, the demon Ravana. Rama and Laksmana are in the chariot, drawn by a horse, while Ravana is seen with nine heads in human form. Below are tow monkey and human fighters all drawing their bows to fire.
