The day of trouble near, the tokens of it, and a due preparation for it in three sermons on Ezekiel vii. 7. The first of which was preached on the Lord's Day, October 29, 1727. Which was the day immediately preceding the late earthquake: The other two were prepared for, and one of them was preached on a day of public fasting and prayer, Nov. 16. and the other on Lord's Day Nov. 19. To which is added, a sermon on Deuteronomy V. 29. Preached the Wednesday after that awakening providence; and an Appendix, giving some of account of the earthquake, as it was in Hampton, and something remarkable of thunder and lightning in that town, in the year 1727.
