An historical account of the revolutions in Persia . In the years 1722, 1723, 1724, and 1725. Wherein the rise and progress of those fatal broils, which from one of the most flourishing Monarchies in Asia, have reduced the Persian Empire to a desolate Wilderness, are set in a true light, and the imperfect Notions the Publick hitherto had of those great Events are fully clear'd up. Together with a relation of the miseries occasion'd by the siege of Ispahan, the Capital City, which exceeded all that we read of Jerusalem when besieged by Titus and Vespasian. Written by French missionary who was an eye-witness of most of the facts, and by him transmitted to Monsieur Le Maire, Consul of France at Tripoli in Syria. To which is prefix'd, A Genealogical Account of the Royal Family of Persia, by the Translator.

The history of Persia . The Persian history written in Arabick, by Mirkond, a famous Eastern Author that of Ormuz, by Torunxa, King of that Island, both of them translated into Spanish, by Antony Teixeira, who liv'd several Years in Persia and India; and now render'd into English. The persian Cromwell being an account of the life and surprizing atchievements and successes of Miri-Ways, Great Duke of Candahar, and Protector of the Persian Empire. Written by a Swedish officer who, for many Years, was Domestick Slave to Miri-Ways. To which is prefix'd, his Effigy curiously engraved from an Original Painting.
