In the life of the lady Elizabeth Hastings, we meet with an extraordinary instance of the happy effects, which Christianity has upon those who, by joining with the calls of grace, become willing to give up their whole hearts to follow its dictates. ..

The Emptiness and vanity of a life spent in the pursuit of wordly [sic] profit, ease or pleasure, compared with a life wholly employed in endeavouring to glorify God, and do good to mankind  illustrated in an extract of the life and death of the pious Lady Elizabeth Hastings. With some remarks on the universality of the love of God to mankind.

An historical character relating to the holy and exemplary life of the Right Honourable the Lady Elisabeth Hastings  to which are added. I, One of the codicils of her last will, setting forth her devise of lands to the provost and scholars of Queen's College in Oxford, for the interest of twelve northern schools. II, Some observations resulting therefrom. III, A schedule of her other perpetual charities : with the principle rules for their administration / by Thomas Barnard.
